About Jubilant Studios
Jubilant Studios encompasses the work of Photographer Katie Fiedler. Capturing the beauty of the world around us and putting it in print and pixel is what brings her joy and satisfaction, and is the genesis of the name Jubilant Studios.
Supporting Katie with running the studio operations, her husband Ryan, often interacts with clients during the planning process and assists Katie during photo sessions.
Jubilant Studios serves the greater Puget Sound area from our office in North Bend, WA. We provide photography in Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Renton, and many other areas in Western Washington. We have worked with clients at events and locations well outside of Western Washington as well, so please inquire if you have a particular request.

About Our Style
We believe that working with a professional photographer is about more than just the final photos, it is also about the experience. We put our clients first and work with their unique needs and personalities. Sometimes this means holding a crying baby while mom and dad get their first couple's portrait in years. Sometimes it means telling endless knock knock jokes to get a toddler to laugh. We love it all, and our clients appreciate our willingness to let go, have fun, and just be relaxed during a photo shoot. Photo shoots don't have to be stressful...
Our photography style can be described as clean and timeless. We focus on the people and their environment on that day. We don't process images in trendy styles which could be considered tacky in 20 years. Our goal is to make a beautiful image of you that you can enjoy today, and your family can enjoy many years down the road. We love to capture formal poses as well as lifestyle or candid shots, which often reveal that little something about a person - the detail of their true smile or love for each other - that you can't see in a formal pose.
Our Process - why we do it
Our way of interacting with our clients is a little different. There are other photographers out there that will be happy to only talk via text or email once or twice before a session, then send a link to digital files after the session, never to be heard from again. We feel that is really coming up short for our clients, so we take a more involved approach.
Meeting Face-to-Face before the session helps build relationship and mutual trust.
This translates into less stress and more confidence during the session, and thus better pictures. It also allows us to fully customize the session and experience for each client.

Well it might be now that everyone is used to only seeing pictures on their phone or screen, but we all need to experience ourselves and those we love in physical form daily. Studies have shown increases in self-confidence and self-image in children when they can see themselves in photos within their family unit on a regular basis.
Also, probably 90% of our clients say they intend to get photos printed and hung from past session with other photographers, but never get to it - we make this easy and way more fun than what you might be used to. Ask us about how we do this, and you will be very surprised…
