Seattle and Bellevue Headshot Photographer - Session Info and Gallery
Headshots used to be reserved for actors and C-Level executives. Today we are living in a new digital world, and we are represented online as a personality in a variety of ways, including with images of ourselves. Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Microsoft, Outlook, Apple. All these ecosystems now provide the opportunity to showcase your personality and professionalism. A quality headshot will set you apart from the crowd and help you put your best foot forward everyday.
We work together with you ahead of your headshot session to talk through your personality and what you want to bring out in your images. We provide you with the tools, including quality lighting, guidance on expression, and assistance with posing to showcase your best features. A headshot session with Jubilant Studios is relaxed and fun, and you will love the way your images look at the end.
What to expect from your headshot or individual portrait session
Prep: Before your portrait session we like to discuss how you will be using your final images so that we can tailor the look to match the use. A LinkedIn photo should look different than a dating website profile photo, so we plan that up front. Additionally, we will discuss the schedule, location, and attire for the photo shoot to ensure you are comfortable and confident. If the look we are going for will be a plain studio background we would have the session at our studio or bring a studio setup to your location.
Photo Shoot Day: On the day of the session we will arrive at the location ahead of time to set up and prepare to get started shooting when you arrive. A variety of backgrounds and poses or looks are a part of how we work through a headshot photo session, so we will take a number of different photos even if you need just one final image. A variety of looks are often acheived by adding or removing accessories like ties, hats, or scarves, depending on your outfit choice. Our headshot sessions range from 20 minutes to 45 minutes typically.
After the Shoot: Following your portrait photography session, depending on the image option you select, we will share a gallery of potential final images to choose from. You will be able to select your preferred final photo and provide comments on any concerns such as blemishes or problem areas you would like us to address during the re-touch process. We will then do a full re-touch on the selected photo(s) before properly formatting for the medium of your choice and delivering to you via your online gallery.
